Sizing
As a general recommendation, our snowshoes come in two sizes to accommodate two weight ranges:
Size | Weight(lbs) |
23" | Up to 200lbs |
25" | Up to 250lbs |
Your perfect snowshoe size depends on a few factors. First, the more your body, your gear, and your clothing weigh as a whole, the more flotation you’ll need - thus, a bigger size. To be safe, account for an additional 10-15lbs for your gear and clothing when selecting your shoe size.
Second, consider the snow conditions. If you’re snowshoeing on established trails and packed snow, you’ll want a smaller, more nimble size. On the flip, if you’re exploring off-trail with fresh snow, you’ll want a bigger size/more flotation.
